During your exam we will check all aspects of your teeth and gums including oral cancer screening, signs of periodontal disease, decay, TMJ issues and more. By providing us with your most up to date medical history, including any new medications, it can help us determine the impact on your dental health. At your preventative visit you will receive a routine cleaning and flossing. Sealants and fluoride are also helpful in preventing dental disease! Our goal is to provide you with preventative dental healthcare instead of disease care.<\/p>\n\t<h3>Uncompromising Safety<\/h3>\n<p>We follow standards and guidelines recommended by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.osha.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">OSHA<\/a>), the Center for Disease Control (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CDC<\/a>) and the American Dental Association (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ada.org\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ADA<\/a>) in regards to infection control, sterilization and cross contamination. We attend annual dental conventions, including the Oregon Dental Association and the American Dental Association, trainings, meetings and study clubs. Dr. Salathe is a bit of a continuing education junkie and has even held leadership positions at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.clackamasdental.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Clackamas County Dental Society<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oregondental.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Oregon Dental Association<\/a> and was a delegate to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ada.org\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">American Dental Association<\/a> Annual Meeting. She believes that education and advocacy starts at the ground level in private practices where the most important voice can be heard, that&#8217;s you, the patient! You can be confident that our clinical staff is highly skilled and trained in the latest techniques, products and technology to provide you with state-of-the-art dental care.<\/p>\n\t<h3>A Positive Experience<\/h3>\n<p>We want your experience in our office to be one built on trust and confidence. We know many patients are nervous or feel uneasy about being in the dental chair, but we want to change that for you! At The Dentist off Main, you&#8217;ll experience a relaxing atmosphere, comfortable chairs, video on demand services, a blanket (if you choose) to keep you cozy, coffee bar, children&#8217;s play area and much more. If the atmosphere doesn&#8217;t get you feeling cozy and comfortable, we have a range of sedation options to get you the comfortable and pain free dentistry you deserve!
