As a patient of The Dentist off Main, we will always make every effort to see you as soon as possible when a dental emergency arises.
Education & Prevention
In our practice, we focus on prevention and education through exams and x-rays. During your exam we will check all aspects of your teeth and gums including oral cancer screening, signs of periodontal disease, decay, TMJ issues and more. By providing us with your most up to date medical history, including any new medications, it can help us determine the impact on your dental health. At your preventative visit you will receive a routine cleaning and flossing. Sealants and fluoride are also helpful in preventing dental disease! Our goal is to provide you with preventative dental healthcare instead of disease care.
Uncompromising Safety
We follow standards and guidelines recommended by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the American Dental Association (ADA) in regards to infection control, sterilization and cross contamination. This protects both our patients and employees. Our new facilities are equipped with the most up to date sterilizers, equipment and processes. Training & Expertise
Training and education are of utmost importance to our staff here at The Dentist off Main. We attend annual dental conventions, including the Oregon Dental Association and the American Dental Association, trainings, meetings and study clubs. Dr. Salathe is a bit of a continuing education junkie and has even held leadership positions at Clackamas County Dental Society, Oregon Dental Association and was a delegate to the American Dental Association Annual Meeting. She believes that education and advocacy starts at the ground level in private practices where the most important voice can be heard, that's you, the patient! You can be confident that our clinical staff is highly skilled and trained in the latest techniques, products and technology to provide you with state-of-the-art dental care.
